Ripy's Shortcut to Wonderland - A Lil' Fairy With Buttons and Big Ideas
Romo is checking the time. Ripy (リピィ) has already decided she knows a shortcut.
You can probably guess which of the two sewing fairies is going to make the journey more interesting.
Meet Lil' Fairy Ripy - Little Helpers in Wonderland, the wonderfully enthusiastic companion in Azone's second sewing-fairy release.
A slightly peculiar sewing commission
The official story begins with an order for dresses to wear at a mysterious tea party. Its guests include familiar Wonderland-style characters, and its refreshments have unusual effects. Some make you shrink, while others help you grow.
Ripy is thrilled. Romo is understandably cautious.
Their assignment is to make appropriate outfits for this strange world, and Ripy treats the whole situation as an adventure. Her line in the original announcement is simple and wonderfully confident: she can handle any sewing task.
I particularly like that the design gives her practical accessories, even if her navigation skills are less convincing.
A button that can see everything?
Ripy wears an Alice Blue dress with a classical apron and striped accents. Her hair is named Chamomile Tea, a soft warm shade that contrasts with the blue dress, while her eyes are Macaron Green.
The headband has tall rabbit ears, and the apron contains a circular button where you might expect a clock.
According to Azone's story, Ripy claims she can see anything through the buttonhole. That's the sort of statement a sewing fairy makes very casually, apparently, while the rest of us are still figuring out how to thread a needle.
Her spool-shaped pochette is designed for sewing tools, and she also has a pincushion and miniature clothing layers. The accessories make the costume feel connected to the story rather than merely decorative.
Collector's details
Ripy's product code is PID049-LAR, and she uses the Picco Neemo P body in Milky White, at approximately 12.5 cm tall.
Azone specifies a rooted soft-vinyl head, normal-type hair and face design by Mina. Her set contains the doll, headband, dress, apron, pannier, drawers, socks, boots, pincushion and pochette.
Reservations in Japan began on 9 October 2026, with Japanese release scheduled for 6 November 2026. International arrivals can follow a different schedule.
Nana's little note ♡
Ripy may have the better sense of adventure, but I think Romo has the better sense of direction. Putting them together is half the fun.
If you plan to photograph both girls, try a miniature sewing table or an oversized teacup. Between the clock, button, spools and rabbit ears, there are enough story cues to make a whole scene without explaining anything.
