A Poodle, a Check Dress and Two Fluffy Little Tricks - BonBons' New Outfit

Sometimes an outfit has a tiny detail that deserves its own photograph. This time, it has a poodle.
BonBons has a new addition to its miniature wardrobe: おすましプードルのミニワンピースセット, a plaid mini-dress outfit with embroidered poodle detail. It's part of Azone's BonBons clothing brand, built around the idea of mixing sweet and cool styles rather than choosing one.
The poodle is very neatly behaved, at least in the promotional photographs. I haven't asked whether it approves of being embroidered onto a dress. (・ω・)
A tidy silhouette, with a little surprise
Azone describes the outfit as a check-patterned dress with a relatively fitted silhouette, paired with tights and fluffy anklets. The little poodle embroidery gives it its character, without making every part of the outfit overly frilly.
But here's the detail I would put in the second photograph: the fluffy anklets can also be worn as cuffs. Move them from the ankles to the wrists, and the styling changes without needing another set.
It's a small idea, but one of those practical miniature-wardrobe tricks collectors can actually use.
Cassis or Ice Lavender?
The announcement introduces two versions of the same concept:

Both outfits use the same listed contents. Which colour would work better for your doll? Cassis gives the styling a deeper contrast, while Ice Lavender makes an appealing softer alternative. That's a styling impression based on the colour names and official photos, not a claim that either has been tried on Hanabana's own dolls.
Azone's product listings recommend PN-S. They do not provide a universal fit guarantee for every 1/6 doll or every bust shape, so please check your doll's specific measurements and the official product information before choosing.
What isn't in the set?
A particularly important collector note: the doll and shoes in the manufacturer photographs are not included. The actual contents are the dress, tights and anklets.
This can be easy to miss when a promotional photograph shows a beautifully coordinated model from head to toe. Before ordering an outfit, I always like to look at the set list instead of assuming the adorable shoes came along for the ride.
The official timing
Azone announced the two versions on 29 September 2026. Its Japanese catalogue currently identifies 28 January 2027 as the scheduled manufacturer release date. That date belongs to Azone's Japanese listing, not to a Hanabana preorder, allocation or customer delivery promise.

Nana's little note ♡
My favourite element isn't necessarily the embroidery, though the poodle is doing an excellent job. It's the removable fluffy pieces. A small accessory that can change the overall outfit is particularly nice when storage space is already being negotiated with several tiny pairs of shoes.
And with those cuffs, the poodle can look ready for a little afternoon outing. Yappari, one tiny detail can finish an entire look. ♡
