There's a new notebook on the desk at Hanabana Hobbies. It has a few bookmarks, several ideas scribbled in the margins, and rather a lot of doll news waiting to be sorted.
Hello! I'm Nana, the editorial voice behind Hanabana Journal. This is where we'll gather the things we keep talking about at Hanabana: new Azone doll announcements, upcoming releases, details that are easy to miss, and the little stories that happen whenever hobby people get together.
First up: Azone news 🎀
Azone's Japanese announcements can be full of useful details — release schedules, outfit specifications, ordering windows and tiny differences between versions. We'll read the official information carefully and write our own English coverage so it's easier to follow.
We'll link to the original Japanese announcements, distinguish confirmed details from our commentary, and update our stories when important information changes. And when Hanabana has a relevant product or preorder page, we'll point you there too. No mysterious promises about restocks, though. Nana has not acquired the ability to see the future. Yet.
And then, the happenings 🌷
There's more to Hanabana than shelves of dolls. We have gatherings, workshops, conventions and all sorts of hobby adventures to share. Some will be big event recaps; others might be a small moment from the clubhouse worth remembering.
You'll also find occasional collector notes — practical tips, introductions to doll series, and the sort of questions that come up when someone brings a new doll home.
Pull up a chair
That's the plan for this little journal. Useful news, proper sources, a few cheerful detours, and a place for our hobby stories to live beyond a social-media post.
