Mia's Loyal Maid Return - Black Lace, Navy Ribbons and a Second Production
Two neat little maids, two very different hair colours, and four product codes worth keeping straight.
There's something charmingly old-fashioned about Mia (みあ) in Loyal Maid. Azone's story takes place in a great house deep in a forest, where trainee maids polish the rooms, tend the garden and hope to become a dedicated attendant one day.
The look originally appeared in 2020, but Azone returned to it as part of the Ex☆Cute 20th-anniversary celebration in 2026. A practical collector detail makes the anniversary versions especially interesting: Mia adopts the AZONE Q'z BODY M with C-bust specification for the first time.
There are two versions, Classical Black and Nocturnal Navy, and each has its own costume details. There was also a later second production. That is where the product codes become slightly tricky.
Classical Black - the traditional maid uniform
The Classical Black version pairs a black dress with a finely laced white apron. Azone says its styling was inspired by Mia's original series appearance from 2010, giving it a nostalgic touch.
Her hair is officially called Sunny Brown and her eyes Marine Blue. In some photographs, the very dark brown hair reads almost black, but collectors should follow the manufacturer's colour name rather than guessing from studio lighting.
Azone adds an aurora-crystal rhinestone to the chest ribbon. The soft-vinyl head uses fine rooted hair fibres, with face design credited to 思い当たる, as on Azone's original listing. The accessories include a little broom, perfect for posing Mia at the start of a very busy shift.

Nocturnal Navy - pink hair and a feather duster
Nocturnal Navy uses a deep navy dress and white lace apron, with warmer red accents around the clothing. Its other big difference is the colour combination: Mellow Pink hair and Pink Purple eyes.
The eyes give her a much softer, almost sleepy expression. Azone describes the look as both graceful and endearing, and the puffed sleeves and layered apron help the outfit hold its shape in photographs.
Unlike the black version, the listed cleaning accessory here is a feather duster. A tiny difference, yes, but very relevant when checking that a boxed doll contains the correct parts.

First release versus second production
This is the detail I would check before buying either doll secondhand:

In its 16 April 2026 announcement, updated 22 April, Azone confirmed a second production following demand. The important specification change applies to Nocturnal Navy only: the second-production pannier, bra, underwear and garter stockings use revised colours. Azone asks buyers to check its updated product images for the exact combination. It is not safe to assume those components match the original version.
Both dolls are approximately 24.5 cm tall, using AZONE Q'z BODY M/C-bust. The main set comprises Mia, dress, apron, pannier, bra, underwear, garter stockings, shoes, maid headband and the appropriate cleaning tool. These are separate dolls, not a two-doll box.
The manufacturer also announced a long, staggered fulfilment timetable for its second production. Nana isn't reproducing that as a Hanabana shipping estimate: a Japanese manufacturer's production schedule does not establish availability or delivery dates at an independent retailer.

Black Mia looks like the girl who insists the silverware should be polished before anyone sits down. Navy Mia looks as if she might finish the job, then sneak a biscuit from the kitchen.
I'd probably display them with a broom cupboard the size of a matchbox. It would still be bigger than the amount of patience I have for tying doll-sized apron strings.
