Sakura Blossoms and Goldfish - Three Sweet Days Yukata Dolls with Maya and Sahra
Three dolls, two yukata prints, and an excuse to plan a miniature summer afternoon.

It's a little strange how quickly one tiny yukata can make you start imagining an entire summer scene.
A folding fan. A paper lantern. Perhaps a miniature goldfish bowl that is going to take much longer to make than it should.
Azone's Sweet Days YUKATA Collection gives collectors three lovely ways to start that scene, with Maya in Brown Hair, Sahra in Black Hair, and a special Sahra Gold Hair anniversary edition. Hanabana has carried all three, and they make an interesting comparison because they're linked by an approach to doll fashion, but they are not simply three recolours of one doll.
First, what makes Sweet Days a coordinate-doll collection?
For Sweet Days, Azone revisits existing character head designs and combines them with specially coordinated outfits. The intention is to present familiar characters in simpler, easy-to-enjoy clothing sets.
Simpler is relative, of course. We're still talking about miniature obi belts, traditional sandals and prints that deserve their own close-up photographs.
The YUKATA Collection is the fourth Sweet Days coordinate-doll theme. Sahra's two editions feature Azone's original cherry-blossom yukata fabric, while Maya steps into a different summer scene with a playful goldfish pattern. They share the same general 1/6-scale format, but the designs feel quite distinct.
Maya, Brown Hair - little goldfish, big summer mood
Maya's yukata is the one that immediately suggests a summer festival to me. The pale fabric features colourful goldfish, paired with a vivid red obi and matching headband. It's cheerful without needing a complicated hairstyle to compete with the pattern.
And that hairstyle is part of the appeal: a neat Brown bob. Azone describes the bob as easy to manage, so collectors can get a tidy look with a little light arranging rather than elaborate restyling.
This edition reuses the head design from the 2010 Maya / White kiss Azone Direct Store release, renewed in a White skin tone. It's a fun bit of series history tucked into an otherwise straightforward seasonal outfit.
Her official eye colour is Yellow Brown, and the head uses rooted soft vinyl. The underlying PureNeemo 2 Emotion M / Girl (White) body stands about 24 cm tall.
Edition reference: POD015-MYB. Azone's Japanese product schedule originally listed 23 October 2026 for this version. That's a manufacturer's date, not a guarantee of delivery elsewhere. (Also, yes, I've already mentally assigned her a tiny festival snack.)
Sahra, Black Hair - sakura print with a classic silhouette
Sahra brings an entirely different atmosphere. Azone chose a softly coloured cherry-blossom print created specifically for her yukata, complemented by a pale obi and delicate headband.
The Black Hair version has long, straight hair and bright Blue eyes. It's an understated combination, leaving the pink sakura print as the focus.
Azone based this release on the 2015 KIMONO Sahra head, updated to the White skin tone. The little engineering details are worth noting too: the yukata and obi fasten with snap buttons, which the manufacturer highlights as convenient for changing the outfit. Azone also adjusted the sandal-style geta to make dressing easier.
For me, that's the kind of detail that makes a collector guide useful. A photograph tells you what the yukata looks like; knowing how it fastens tells you something about living with the doll.
The Black Hair release uses normal-type rooted hair, a PureNeemo 2 Emotion M / Girl (White) body, and an approximate height of 24 cm.

Sahra, Gold Hair - an anniversary take on the same blossoms
Now compare the same sakura yukata with Sahra's Gold Hair.
The outfit is coordinated around the same print, but her antique-inspired golden hair makes the overall look feel lighter. The blue eyes remain, yet they stand out differently against the pale hair.
This version has a particular history: Azone introduced it as a 12th anniversary model for the Akihabara Radio Kaikan Label Shop. It's the special Azone Direct Store edition, not merely the standard Black Hair version with a different wig.
The Gold Hair edition shares the rooted soft-vinyl head approach, normal-type hair and PureNeemo 2 Emotion M / Girl (White) body. The approximate height is also 24 cm.

Which Sahra is my favourite? That's a terrible question to ask someone who has just spent far too long comparing two nearly identical sakura prints. I like how each hair colour changes the same outfit's mood.

All three use the PureNeemo 2 Emotion M / Girl (White) body, at approximately 24 cm, and all feature soft-vinyl heads with rooted hair.
The included items are the doll, headband, yukata, obi, underwear and geta sandals. As always, check the specific manufacturer's set list before assuming that photography props or backgrounds are included.
One detail that comes with patterned doll clothing: because fabric is cut in different places, the position of the sakura or goldfish print can vary from doll to doll. Two examples of the same edition may not have their motifs in precisely the same position.

Nana's little note ♡
I'd photograph Maya with a festival stall and the Sahra editions under a flowering branch. The contrast is rather lovely: colourful goldfish for a lively day out, and gentle sakura motifs for a quieter portrait.
Most importantly, these dolls are interesting as editions, not as a snapshot of a shop's inventory. Product availability, reservation status and retail prices can change, so the Journal won't describe any of them with a fixed stock label.
